Thessaloniki metro (V Soluni se buduje automatické metro)

A 14 station, 9.4 km automated underground metro is under construction and in this 2400 year old city. The system will be similar to those in Copenhagen. The line will be mostly underground with the exception of one station and 800 meters at ground level adjacent to the depot. 7.7 km is being built using a TBM , with the remainder as cut and cover.
