Loan/Credit Number: Loan No. 4310-BR The Federative Republic of Brazil has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), and intends to apply part of the loan proceeds to payments for the inventory of surface and ground water resources in the State of Maranhăo. The services include studies on the inventory of surface and ground water resources for Maranhăo State, with completion of surface and ground water intakes lists, recording of wells and hydraulic structures, users, etc. The inventory will include a ranking of initiatives, that further will constitute inputs into the State budget. The intended completion date for the whole of the services shall be 12 months after the date of commencement order. The Geręncia Adjunta de Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos do Maranhăo (GAMA), now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested Consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the Services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, January 1997 (revised September 1997, January 1999 and April 2002).
