Vedoucí projektu tímto vyzývá vhodné zájemce o účast ve výběrovém řízení k zakoupení tendrové dokumentace po zaplacení nevratného poplatku 50,- USD (nebo ekvivalentu 3.000,- Tk). This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in UN Development Business No. 508 of 16 April 1999.
The People`s Republic of Bangladesh has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward implementing the Air Quality Management Project (AQMP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for Repair/Replace/Refurbish equipment of Continuous Air Monitoring Station (CAMS) at Dhaka.
The Project Director, Air Quality Management project, Department of Environment (DOE) now invites sealed Bids from eligible bidders for Repair/Replace/Refurbish equipment of Continuous Air Monitoring Station (CAMS) at Dhaka.
Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines. However, countries not eligible under this project also include The Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Brunei Darussalam, Cyprus, Oman, Qatar, Singapore & United Arab Emirates. Domestic preference will apply.
Interested eligible bidders may visit CAMS at Sangsad Bhaban premises and inspect the bidding documents at the address below from 0900 to 1700 hours on all working days.
A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tk. 3,000 = or US$ 50. The method of payment will be either in casher check or in certified check, or in payment order/ bank draft from any scheduled bank in Bangladesh. The document may be sent by Air Mail for overseas delivery and Surface Mail for local delivery.
A Pre-bid conference with the representatives of prospective bidders will be held at the address below at 1100 hours on 7 February 2007.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 1530 hours on 4 March 2007.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of BDT 100,000 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders` representatives, who choose to attend at the address below at 1545 hours on 4 March 2007.
