Islámská republika Afghánistán obdržela od Mezinárodní Asociace pro rozvoj (IDA) prostředky na financování projektu rozvoje městského vodohospodářství a část prostředků hodlá použít na platbu konzulantských služeb pro "Afghan Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Corporation" (AUWSSC) po dobu 36 měsíců. Vhodní zájemci o poskytnut těchto služeb (kritéria viz níže) mohou projevit svůj zájem o účast ve výběrovém řízení do 15. dubna 2007 do 14:00 (místního času) na níže uvedené adrese.

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply part of the grant proceeds to make payments under the contract for Operational Support to AUWSSC.
The services include:
To complement the operational support financed by the German Development Cooperation in Kabul, Herat and Kunduz in the field of monitoring, operations, maintenance, management (KfW) and costumer relation, tariffs, financial management, budgeting (GtZ).
To support UWSS infrastructure development and project management in the Headquarters and the technical, financial and commercial management of operations in selected Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
To provide technical /procurement, financial /administrative and internal audit inputs at Headquarters, operational inputs on Jalalabad and Kandahar SBUs from Kabul and Mazar-e-Sharif SBU on field, over a period of 36 months.
The Working Group - on behalf of future Afghan Urban Water Supply and Sewerage Corporation (AUWSSC) now invites eligible consultants ( including firms and consortia of firms) to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consultant firm shall be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (current edition).
