Kanalizační společnost Teheránu obdržela od Mezinárodní Banky pro Rekonstrukci a Rozvoj (IBRD) půjčku na projekt rekonstrukce a rozvoje kanalizačního systému v Teheránu, a část prostředků hodlá použít na platby kontraktu na dodávky dvou souprav čistících strojů pro recyklační kolektor odpadních vod. Vhodní zájemci o účast ve výběrovém řízení (kritéria viz níže) mohou zakoupit kompletní tendrovou dokumentaci na základě písemné žádosti a po zaplacení nevratného poplatku ve výši 1 mil. Iránských rialů (80 EUR) na níže uvedené adrese, kde je též možno získat více informací o projektu. Nabídky musí být podány nejpozději do 14. října 2007 do 14:00 hodin a spolu s nabídkou musí být podána záruka za nabídku ve výši 20.000,- EUR popřípadě ekvivalentu ve volně směnitelné měně.

This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in UN Development Business, issue no. 538 of July 16, 2000.

Tehran Sewerage Company has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of Tehran Sewerage Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract for two sets of Recycle Sewer Cleaner (ICB No.PMU-ICB-GOODS-4).

The Tehran Sewerage Company now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for supply of Recycle Sewer Cleaners.

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Project Management Unit of Tehran Sewerage Company (attn: Mr. S.A. Sadjady, TSC-PMU Director) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the first address given below:

Qualifications requirements include:

(a) Registration certificate showing at least 10 years of relevant activity.

(b) The documents of its agent/representative to provide parts and after sales services including agent`s/representative`s registration certificate in purchaser’s country and an official authorization document from the manufacturer for supply of parts and after sales services in the purchasers country.

(c) The bidder shall submit the recent three –year audited financial statement showing not being in red (losses)

(d) The bidder shall submit the Bank Reference Letter stating its financial capability

(e) The bidder shall have at least ten years experience of manufacturing or supplying similar type of goods and shall provide successful references in detail for last five years.

Margin of preference for goods manufactured domestically shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the first address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Iranian Rials 1,000,000 (one million Iranian Rials) or €80 (Eighty Euros). The method of payment will be direct deposit into our account No.0131524706 (for local currency) with Bank Tejarat, Imam Khomeini Square Branch (Code 056) and account No. 051- 80821 (for foreign currency) with Bank Tejarat, Imam Khomeini Branch, Tehran, Iran (Code 051), payable to Tehran Sewerage Company. Relevant transaction paper must be sent together with request for bidding documents. The representative(s) must have an official introductory letter from the interested bidder.

Bids must be delivered to the second address below at or before 14:00 hours (local time) on October 14, 2007. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 14:00 hours (local time) on October 14, 2007. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of €20,000 (twenty thousand Euros), or an equivalent amount in freely-convertible currency.
