Anotace tendru:

Vláda Nigérie obdržela od Mezinárodní Asociace pro rozvoj (IDA) v rámci Světové banky (WB) úvěr na pokrytí nákladů na rehabilitaci vodní elektrárny Kanji. Za tímto účelem nyní vypisuje Elektrárenská společnost Nigérie (Power Holding Copany of Nigeria – PHNC) předkvalifikační řízení na výše uvedený projekt, konkrétně na:
-výstavbu budivy elektrárny
-tři jednotky elektrárny 1G5 (120MW), 1G6 (120MW) a 1G7 (100MW) s možností další výstavby jednotek 1G9 (80MW) a 1G10 (80MW) v rámci jednoho nabídkového řízení
-související služby
Vypsání výběrového řízení se předpokládá v lednu 2008. Vhodní zájemci o předkvalifikaci mohou zakoupit kompletní dokumentaci na základě písemné žádosti po zaplacení nevratného poplatku ve výši 14.000 N nebo 100 USD na níže uvedené adrese, kde je též možno získat více informací o projektu. Dokumentace může být vyzvednuta osobně, nebo zaslána kurýrní službou po zaplcení dalšího příslušného poplatku, pro doručení do Evropy 28.000 N nebo 200 USD. Žádosti o předkvalifikaci musí být podány nejpozději do 4. prosince 2007 v obálce, která musí být zřetelně označena „Application to Prequalify for Rehabilitation of Kaini Hydroelectric Power Plant.“

The Federal Government of Nigeria has received an International Development Association (IDA) credit from the World Bank through the Niger Basin Authority under the Niger Basin Water Resources Development and Sustainable Ecosystems Management Project on behalf of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) for the rehabilitation of Kainji Hydroelectric Power Plant. PHCN as the National Implementation Agency (NIA), and intends to apply part of the credit proceeds for payments of the contract for the Rehabilitation of Kainji Hydroelectric Power Plant.

The Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) - Project Management Unit (PMU) of NEPA intends to pre-qualify contractors and/or firms for the Rehabilitation of Kainji Hydroelectric Power Plant. The scope of work for the project shall include the Rehabilitation of the following:
• Powerhouse.
• Power Plants of three Units 1G5 (120MW), 1G6 (120MW) and 1G12 (100MW) and possibly including two other Units 1G9 (80MW) and 1G10 (80MW) in the same bid.
• Common services.

It is expected that invitations for bid will be made in January 2008.

Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the guidelines.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Prequalification Documents at the first address below, from 1000 to 1700 hours (Nigeria time) on week days, starting from 4 October 2007.

A complete set of Prequalification Documents in English may be purchased by interested applicants on submission of a written application to the second address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of N 14,000 or US$ 100. The method of payment will be with certified bank check in favor of PHCN-PMU Abuja. The Prequalification Documents will be collected at the PHCN-PMU Office or sent by courier upon additional payment of N 14,000 or US$ 100 for Europe and West Africa or N 28,000 or US$ 200 for all other countries as demand draft payable to the Manager, PHCN-PMU at Abuja not later than 30 October 2007 to cover the delivery. The demand draft should be accompanied by a letterhead of the desiring party requesting for transmittal of the documents giving reference to the Bid Number and the title of the bid.

Applications for prequalification should be submitted in sealed envelopes, delivered to the first address below by 4 December 2007 and be clearly marked “Application to Prequalify for “Rehabilitation of Kainji Hydroelectric Power Plant.”
