Drilling The Eger Rift

    Eger Rift
  • The principal goal of the presite surveys and workshops is the investigation of the recent dynamics and geological history of Eger Rift. The important topics are
  • 1) main physical processes responsible for earthquakes in this region,
  • 2) geological aspects related to selecting a best drilling site, and
  • 3) technical aspects of continental scientific drilling as well as of borehole monitoring.
