it is posted online (see below). This invitation for bids follows the general
procurement notice for this project that appeared in UN Development Business No.
565 of 31 August 2001. The Government of Serbia and Montenegro has received a
grant from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD)
toward the cost of the Montenegro Environmental Infrastructure Project, and
intends to apply part of the grant proceeds to payments under the contract for
the water supply system for Gornja Zeta Valley. A water supply pipeline has been
planned in the length of 6,552 m, the internal pipeline diameter is 400 mm.
Pipes are made out of high-density polyethylene with the quality: PE 100, NP 10
bars DN 450 mm. Twenty two manholes are planned on the pipeline, to enable its
regular function starting from the exploitation to the pipeline maintenance, for
the construction of these manholes, appropriate fitting materials, for the
active pressure of 10 bars, has to be provided, according to the specifications
attached to the bidding documents. The Fund for Urban Land, Real Estate and
Roads now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery
of pipe and fitting material according to the technical specification. In order
to consider a bidder eligible he has to fulfill following requirements: Minimum
level of experience in manufacturing of same or similar type of goods: 5 years
Bid security: € 15,000 Amount of Performance security: €50,000 Minimal turnover
for previous business year: € 2,500,000 Secured financial resources: € 300,000
The delivery period is 29 weeks from date of effectiveness of contract. Bidding
will be conducted through the international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures
specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA
Credits, January 1995 (revised January and August 1996, September 1997 and
January 1999), and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as
defined in the guidelines. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further
information from and inspect the bidding documents at the Fund for Urban Land,
Real Estate and Roads, at the address below, from 0700 to 1500 hours. A complete
set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested
bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon
payment of a nonrefundable fee of € 200 or an equivalent amount in a freely
convertible currency to the account No. 55105-661-2-58 for Društveni Fond za
gradevinsko zemljište, poslovni prostor i puteve, Podgorica, with notice “for
Bidding Documents – Zeta Valley” at Hipotekarna Bank, Podgorica No.
55105-661-0-3000058. The method of payment will be direct deposit. The document
will be taken over directly or sent by courier. All bids must be accompanied by
a security amount of € 15,000 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible
currency, and be delivered to the address below by 1300 hours on 28 June 2002.
They will be opened in immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders who
choose to attend, at the same address. Late bids will be rejected. Contact Fund
