The requested consultancy services will include the following tasks: 1- Supervision of Works 2- Supervision for Procurement of the Operation Equipment 3- Supervision of the Liability. The Consultancy Services which will be financed by the loan provided by the European Investment Bank (EIB), Luxembourg within the framework of the Euro - Mediterranean Partnership will be tendered on international competitive basis. MESKI hereby invites joint ventures or consortia with adequate experience to submit their bids to apply to the consultancy tender for the above mentioned works. The applicants must be joint ventures or consortia of an experienced international consultant firm / firms (as one of them to be the pilot company) and experienced local consultant firm / firms as partner. The applicants are requested to prove that they are qualified to perform the tasks defined in the tender documents and have successfully completed similar works in the past. The tender documents and required information may be obtained from the General Directorate of MESKI with a charge of 1.000.000.000. -TL (including VAT) by the representatives of the joint ventures or consortia from 27.11.2002 on. Latest purchase date is 17.1.2003. The offers will be submitted both in English and Turkish to MESKI (to the following address) latest on 31.1.2003, Friday at 11:30 oclock. The applicants shall submit a bid bond of an amount at least 3 % of the value of their offers together with their bids. The bids will be officially opened in presence of the representatives of the bidders who wish to attend, at the same day (31.1.2003) at 14:00 oclock in MESKI Meeting Room. Late submissions due to any reason will not be accepted. MESKI is not bound by the conditions of the Awarding Law No: 2886 of the Turkish Republic for the tender of above mentioned works.
