The Sewerage Board of Nicosia invites firm tenders for the Supply and Installation of Sanitary Sewers and Associated Works within the Aglandjia Municipality Area.

The scope of the work includes the supply and installation of approximately 10.70km of sanitary sewers of diameter 200mm, and approximately 5km of Public Building Sewers 110mm in diameter plus appurtenances and equipment to complete this system.

The prospective Tenderers shall meet the minimum criteria specified in the relevant Tender Documents some of which are the following:

- Local Tenderers: valid permit Category \"B\" by the Council for the Registration and Control of Building Contractors for Civil Engineering Works renewed for the current year for the execution of Civil Engineering works

- Reference of at least two similar works - totaling minimum of 7km of supply and installation of sanitary sewers (excluding Public Building Sewers) and associated works and appurtenances fully and satisfactorily executed within the last five years

- Minimum turn-over of CYP 2.000.000 over the last three years

Tender documents and drawings may be collected by Civil Works Contractors from the Sewerage Board of Nicosia offices on payment of the non-refundable fee of three hundred Cypriot Pounds (CYP 300) per two sets of documents. Tender documents may be sent to interested foreign Contractors abroad by express courier on payment of an additional non-refundable fee of CYP 100. A complete set of tender documents may be examined during normal office hours at the offices of the Sewerage Board of Nicosia, 15 Hippocrates Street, 1011 Nicosia, Cyprus.

Completed tenders in sealed envelopes bearing the number of the tender, are to be addressed to the Chairman, Sewerage Board of Nicosia, 15 Hippocrates Street, 1011 Nicosia and be in the Tender Box of the Sewerage Board of Nicosia, 16 Aristokypros Street, in Laiki Yitonia, Nicosia, by 12.00 hours local time on 2 February, 2004. Tenders will be opened publicly at 12.15p.m. the same day.

The Board reserves the right to reject any or all tenders or to accept any tender should it be deemed in the interest of the Board so to do. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
