This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice that appeared in UN Development Business No. 644 of 16 December 2004.
The Russian Federation has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) toward the cost of a Municipal Water and Wastewater Project and intends to apply part of the loan proceeds to payments under a contract for rehabilitation, by CIPP method, of the water pipelines of D400-500 mm and of the underwater pipeline in the wastewater network in the city of Pskov.
The National Foundation for Housing Reform (NFHR) acting on behalf of the Pskov Vodokanal now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for procurement of works for rehabilitation, by CIPP method, of the water pipelines of D400-500 mm and of the underwater pipeline in the wastewater network in the city of Pskov under two lots:
Lot 1: Rehabilitation of water network
Lot 2: Rehabilitation of underwater pipeline in the wastewater network
The works include cleaning, teleinspection and disinfection of pipelines, disassembling of the worn shutoff gate valves, acquisition and installation of the new shutoff gate valves, construction of waste disposal.
Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the NFHR and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below workdays from 1000 to 1700 hours.
A complete set of the bidding documents in the English language may be received by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 1500 hours (Moscow time) on 15 December 2005, and be accompanied by a security amount of:
Lot 1: US$ 40,000 or an equivalent
Lot 2: US$ 16,000 or an equivalent
They will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders who choose to attend, at the same address. Late bids will be rejected.
