This is the first announcement of the 2015 edition of the now traditional conference dedicated to the Variscan-Alleghenian orogen:

The Variscan belt: correlations and plate dynamics
This year, it will be held on 9-11 June, 2015 in Rennes, France.The first circular is available below.
The official conference website will be finalised shortly and registration for the conference and field trips will open in due course.
We are looking forward to having an exciting scientific discussion on all aspects of the Variscan orogen, with a particular attention to the correlations between the fragments of the orogen, including not only the "classic" European massifs but also those of North Africa and North America.
The conference will be accompanied by two excursions to beautiful localities, including the world-famous blueschist-facies rocks of Ile de Groix and type localities of the C/S structures.
