Invitation for Tenders This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which was updated on the EBRDs Web site in the Procurement Opportunities section on 15 May 2002. INA INDUSTRIJA NAFTE d.d. hereinafter referred to as the Purchaser, intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the Reconstruction of Unifining Unit KP-2 into HDS Gas Oil and Coking Naphta Sisak. The Purchaser now invites sealed tenders from suppliers for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan: Supply of the following equipment: LOT A: Liquid/Gas Coalescer F-502N A/B/C/D, spare parts and technical documentation LOT B: Filter System F-501 N, spare parts and technical documentation LOT C: Static Mixer MI-502 N, spare parts and technical documentation Tenders are invited for one or more lots. Each lot must be priced separately. Tenderers for more than one lot may offer discounts and such discounts will be considered in the comparison of tenders. Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank will be subject to the Bank’s Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank’s loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons and entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nation Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser’s country. The Purchaser will, upon the tenderers request in writing, promptly, dispatch the requested tender documents to the tenderer by courier, but under no circumstances will be held responsible for loss or late delivery of the documents dispatched in that way. All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security in the amount not less than 2 % of total tender price. Tenders must be delivered to the office at the address below on or before 22 August 2002 at 12 noon local time at which time they will be opened in the presence of those tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend.
