2002. State Enterprise Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant (the \"Employer\") intends
applying the proceeds of a grant from the Ignalina International Decommissioning
Support Fund (IIDSF) administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and
Development (the \"Bank\") towards the cost of design and implementation of the
New Solid Waste Management and Storage Facilities. The Employer intends
pre-qualifying firms and Joint Ventures of firms to tender for the following
contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the grant: A fixed price/lump
sum single responsibility contract for the design, manufacture, supply,
installation, commissioning, setting to work and rectification during defect
liability period of the new Solid Waste Management and Storage Facility. The
design should include all necessary auxiliary systems, waste handling and waste
storage facilities. The estimated first stage tender submission June 2003 The
estimated second stage tender submission October 2003 The estimated contract
award date December 2003 The Facilities must be completed June 2007
Prequalification and tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of
the IIDSF grant which is administered by the Bank is open to firms and joint
ventures of firms from all eligible countries and as at 23 January 2003 are:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy,
Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, all
so-called PHARE countries and the EBRDs Countries of Operations.
Prequalification documents may be obtained from the address below upon payment
of a non-refundable fee of one hundred and fifty Euro (€150) or equivalent in
any freely convertible currency and local currency or in combination of those by
