V rámci projektu rozvoje letiště obdržela Egyptská společnost pro letiště a leteckou navigaci půjčku od Světové banky. V rámci uvedeného projektu vydává výzvu na konzultantské služby pro provedení pokročilého školení zaměřeného na oblast životního prostředí. Uzávěrka výzvy je 16. dubna 2006. Výzva musí být zpracována v angličtině.

The Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation (EHCAAN) has received a loan for the equivalent of US$ 335 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loan to payments under the contract for the technical assistance for Advanced Environmental Training.
EHCAAN now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing their services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (company profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc). The selected consultant should have had strong and proven records in similar assignments and capable of demonstrating sufficient consultancy and operational capabilities to undertake the execution of the above-mentioned tasks. The invited consultants should also provide evidence that over the last five years they have carried out at least two similar environmental training each worth not less than US$ 50,000.
The main objective for the assignment is to produce Certified Advanced Environmental Training Courses on: Risk and Crisis Management, Environmental Management Systems and Preparation for ISO 14001, Emission Inventories Preparation and Air Quality Dispersion Modeling, Noise Monitoring and Prediction, in addition to practical training on operation of Aviation Noise and Air Quality Monitoring Systems.
Consulting service contract implementation is expected to commence on the 1st quarter of 2007. The duration for the assignment will be 9 months.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, January 1997 (revised in September 1997, January 1999, and May 2002).
