This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice that appeared in UN Development Business No. 673 of 28 February 2006.
The Russian Federation has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of a Municipal Water and Wastewater Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for the Supply of mechanical dewatering equipment for wastewater treatment facilities for Taganrog Vodokanal.
The National Foundation for Housing Reform (the NFHR) acting on behalf of the Taganrog Vodokanal now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply of mechanical dewatering equipment for wastewater treatment facilities (two centrifuges and two sets of auxiliary equipment).
Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the NFHR and inspect the bidding documents at the address below on workdays from 1000 to 1700 hours.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 15 May 2006 at 1500 hours (Moscow time) and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of US$ 23,000 or its equivalent. Late bids will be rejected. They will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, at the same address.
