Republika Moldávie obdržela financování od Světové banky ve výši ekvivalentu 6,35 mil USD na řízení odpadového hospodářství v oblasti organického znečištění a část tohoto financování hodlá použít na konzultantské služby. Od konzultanta se očekává vydání příslušného informačního materiálu: brožur, knih , pořádání TV a rozhlasových pořadů. Rovněž se počítá s pořádáním seminářů, konferencí a workshopů na toto téma.

The Republic of Moldova has received financing in the amount of US$ 6.35 million equivalents from the World Bank toward the cost of the GEF Persistent Organic Pollutants Stockpiles Management and Destruction Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consultant services. The services include public awareness building activities, training and education activities in the field of Persistent Organic Pollutants. The consultant
is expected to issue leaflets, brochures, books, develop and produce TV and radio programs, conduct seminars and round tables, organize national workshops and conferences, disseminate the materials and provide training and education to target groups. The assignment will cover 40 months.
The Project Management Team on behalf of Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources for the second time
now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, current edition.

Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by 30 August 2006.
The consultants which expressed already their interest for proposed project assignment (according to the RFEOI First Edition) are not required to repeat their expression of interests.
