Dublin City Council is subject to the Freedom of Information Act. It is a condition of the award of the contract that the Service Provider is able to produce promptly a current Tax Clearance Certificate. In the case of a non-resident Service Provider, he should be in a position to produce a statement (in lieu of a current Tax Clearance Certificate) from the Revenue Commissioners that he has satisfied them as to his suitability on tax grounds to be awarded a contract.
