Anotace tendru:

Obecní samospráva Ammánu (Jordánsko) požádala Mezinárodní banku pro rekonstrukci a rozvoj (IBRD), která je součástí Světové banky (WB), o půjčku v různých měnách na financování projektu nakládání s tuhými odpady a takzvaného projektu „Carbon Fund“, a tyto prostředky hodlá použít na nákup zboží, služeb, prací a konzultačních činností v rámci tohoto projektu. Projekt bude obsahovat následující komponenty:
-institucionální rozvoj a posílení kapacit
-komponent investic do infrastruktury (skládky, meziklady odpadu)
-Projektová management

The Greater Amman Municipality hereinafter referred to as the Owner has applied for a Loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, in various currencies toward the cost of the Amman Solid Waste Management and Carbon Finance Project, and intends to apply the proceeds of this loan to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The project will include the following components:
• Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Development Component: This component would finance technical assistance and capacity building activities including: (i) support for strategic planning and private sector participation; (ii) development of information systems to track technical and financial performance of MSWM services; (iii) development and implementation of a public information, education, and communication program; and (iv) training and capacity development in the CDM and carbon finance.
• Infrastructure Investment component: This component would finance (a) construction of new cell at the existing landfill and upgrade of leachate treatment facility; (b) construction and equipment of two transfer stations to service the North and South-east areas of Amman; and (c) the design, build and operate Construction of an landfill gas recovery system at the existing Al Ghabawi landfill including collection of LFG and use for electricity generation.
• Project Management Component which would provide technical assistance to GAM to assist it in fulfilling its overall supervisory, coordinating, and monitoring role. This component will also support all project management activities, including technical issues, procurement, environmental and financial management.

Procurement of contracts financed by the loan will be conducted through the procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, edition May 2004 revised October 2006, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, edition May 2004 revised October 2006).

Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the World Bank’s international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures and for large-value consultants’ contracts will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business.
