Anotace tendru:
Čínská lidová republika požádala o půjčku z Mezinárodní banky pro rekonstrukci a rozvoj, která je součástí skupiny Světové banky (WB) ve výši ekvivalentu US$ 150 miliónů na financování projektu Projekt dodávek vody „Jiangsu Water a Wastewater Project“, a zamýšlí část těchto prostředků použít na financování zboží, práce, související služby a konzultačních služeb.
Projekt se skládá ze tří komponent:

The People’s Republic of China has applied for a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in the amount of US$ 150 million equivalent toward the cost of the Jiangsu Water and Wastewater Project, and it intends to apply the proceeds of this loan to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The loan is expected to be approved in March 2009.
The project consists of three components:
Component 1. Water Supply Expansion (US$176.4 million): (a) strengthening and increasing capacity in the central city water supply systems in Danyang, Taixing, Yancheng and Zhenjiang to extend safe water supply to surrounding townships; and (b) renovating distribution networks in selected nine townships;
Component 2. Wastewater Management (US$ 250.4 million): (a) expanding wastewater collection and treatment in Danyang, Nanjing, Huangqiao and Zhenjiang;
Component 3. Implementation and Capacity Building Support (US$3.0 million)

(ii) Tariff study, and township water supply institutional financial reform
(iii) Non revenue water reduction strategies, and a pilot NRW in three townships and GIS-based network plans for township networks and dedicated transmission lines

(vi) Zhenjiang Wastewater Company: (a) Pilot sludge treatment research project; (b) Study feasibility of the use of natural ponds at Zhengrunzhou for parallel or conjunctive wastewater treatment; (b) GIS-based model for drainage and wastewater management and planning
Procurement of contracts financed by the loan will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank`s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004 revised October 2006, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank`s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004 revised October 2006.
Contracts for goods estimated to exceed US$ 0.5 million and contracts for works estimated to exceed US$ 20.0 million will be procured using international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures. Specific procurement notices for contracts to be bid under the World Bank`s international competitive bidding (ICB) procedures will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business online and dgMarket as well as in a national gazette newspaper such as China Daily.
