Gibraltarská skála
Gibraltar is the southernmost point in Europe. Gibraltar's name comes from the Arabic Jebel Tariq (Mount of Tarik) after the Muslim conquerer who landed here in 711 CE to take Iberia for Islam. The Rock is primarily limestone of Jurassic age and is riddled with caves, both above and below sea level. These contain fossils of Neogene animals and early humans.
