3-10 Deadline: 10 January 2003 The Government of Indonesia has received a loan
from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), a credit
from the International Development Association (IDA) and a grant from the Global
Environment Facility (GEF). It is intended to apply part of the loan and credit
proceeds to payment under the contract for consulting services for the
preparation of an outline plan for major drainage and small lakes management in
Jabodetabek-Bopunjur area (TA Project No. Pusat 3-10). The service includes
technical assistance to support the Directorate General of Urban and Rural
Development (DGURD) to define a program of interventions to improve urban
drainage and small lakes management within the whole of the study area. These
interventions to include new or improved capital projects, improved management
and maintenance techniques, improved institutional arrangements and improved
regulatory background and their enforcement and implementation. The duration of
the services will be 18 months. The DGURD now invites eligible consultants to
indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must
provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services
(brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar condition,
availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc). Consultants may associate
to enhance their qualifications. Consultants will be selected using the Quality-
and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) method in accordance with the procedures set out
in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World
Bank Borrowers, January 1997 (revised September 1997, January 1999 and May
2002). Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address
below from 0900 to 1400 hours (local time), Monday through Friday. Expressions
