Anotace tendru:
Vláda republiky Bangladéše obdržela od Mezinárodní asociace pro rozvoj (IDA) příslib úvěru na navrhovaný projekt zásobování vodou a hygienická opatření ve městech Dháka Chittagong a část prostředků hodlá použít na konzultanstké služby při přípravě územního plánu pro správu odpadních vod města Dháka. Vodovodní a kanalizační úřad mě v Dháce nyní vyzývá vhodné zájemce z řad konzultantů o projevení zájmu o poskytnutí těchto služeb. Vhodní konzultanto budou vybráni na základě kritérií uvedených níže. Písemný zájem firem musí být potvrzen nejpozději do 9. května 2007.

The Government of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh (GoB) has received an advance credit for preparation of the proposed Dhaka and Chittagong Water Supply and Sanitation Project from the International Development Association (IDA), and intends to apply a part of the proceeds of this credit to pay for providing services to prepare the Master Plan for Waste Water Management of Dhaka City and preparation of detail design and corresponding bidding documents of some urgent activities which may, among other things, consist of rehabilitation and strengthening of the existing facilities and expansion of sewerage and sanitation coverage to priority areas as identified in the Master Plan.
Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (DWASA) now invites eligible consultants to submit their Expressions of Interest (EOI) for providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). The EOIs would be reviewed on the basis of the following to prepare a short list:
Registration of consultant
Age of the consultant in business
Availability of key professionals
Availability of resources
Experience of the consultant in similar task
Experience of the consultant in other works
Support services of the consultant
Consultants may associate to enhance their qualification, but should mention whether the association is in the form of a “joint-venture” or of “sub-consultancy”. In the case of an association, all members of such “association” should have real and well-defined inputs to the assignment and in such "association", it is preferable to limit the total number of firms including the associates to a maximum of four.
The consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedure set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004.

The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all EOI proposals either in part or in full without assigning any reason whatsoever.
Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by 9 May 2007.
EOIs received after the last date of submission will not be considered for short listing. DWASA will not be responsible for any delay in submission including delay due to postal or any other reason, whatsoever.
