received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) toward
the cost of the Mostar Water Supply and Sanitation Project, and it intends to
apply part of the credit proceeds to payments under the contract for the supply
of pumps and motors for drinking water (No. BA-MWSS-ICB/17/G/02-MO-IN). The
Mostar Water Supply and Sewerage Utility (J.P. “Vodovod” Mostar) now invites
sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply of pumps and motors for
drinking water. The total number of the pumps is 16 pieces. The type of needed
pumps is as follows: vertical and horizontal centrifugal multistage as well as
single stage pumps and submersible pumps. The above-mentioned goods will be
delivered to the Warehouse of JP “Vodovod” Mostar. The delivery period is four
months. Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding
procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD
Loans and IDA Credits, January 1995 (revised January and August 1996 and
September 1997 and January 1999), and is open to all bidders from eligible
source countries as defined in the guidelines. Interested eligible bidders may
obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the JP
“Vodovod” Mostar - Project Implementation Team at the address below, from 0800
to 1400 hours. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased
by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address
below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of EURO 150. The method of payment
will be through bank transfer into Raiffeisen Bank dd Bosnia and Herzegovina,
bank account No. 161020000 3440009. The document will be sent by courier. All
bids must be accompanied by a security amount of EURO 10,000 or an equivalent
amount in a freely convertible currency, and be delivered to the address below
on or before 1000 hours on 2 September 2002. They will be opened at 1030 hours
on the same day of delivery, in the presence of bidders who choose to attend, at
