SIWI již přes 30 let pořádá Světový týden vody. Dnes je to nejvlivnější hnutí na světě zaměřené na transformaci globálních problémů s vodou. World Water Week je přední konferencí o globálních problémech s vodou, která se koná každý rok od roku 1991. Týden přitahuje různorodou směs účastníků z mnoha profesních oblastí a ze všech koutů světa.
