viz originál. General Procurement Notice This notice updates the General
Procurement Notice for this project, which was published on the EBRD’s Web site,
dated 1 March 2001. INA-Industrija nafte d.d., Zagreb, (INA), has obtained for a
loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for environmental
improvements in INAs units with the aim to eliminate sources of soil, ground
water and air contamination. The proposed project, which has a total estimated
cost of Euro 36 million, requires the procurement of the following goods, works
and services: Storage tank farm repairs including reduction of volatile
emissions, and revamping of tank level gauging systems, (Refinery - Rijeka);
Repair of the sewer system including reconstruction work involving line testing
for damage and the design of a reparation system, (Refinery – Rijeka); Oily
waste treatment plant, including civil, electrical and instrumentation works,
and supply of centrifuges, separators, pumps, vessels, containers, piping
material, (Refinery – Rijeka); Construction of new landfill and revamp of the
existing provisional one (Refinery – Rijeka); Reconstruction of unifining unit
KP2 into HDS gas oil and coking naphtha. (Refinery–Sisak); Reconstruction of
Oily Waste Separator, (Refinery – Sisak); Revamp of hydrodesulphurisation plant,
(Refinery – Rijeka); Construction of a plant for recovering sulphur from slurry
by product from gas treatment processing. (Naftaplin); Design and engineering
supervision for the above components. Tendering for the above contracts to be
financed by the Bank are expected to continue in the second quarter of 2002.
Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank will
be subject to the Banks Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms
from any country. The proceeds of the Banks loan will not be used for the
purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if
such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations
Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or
under a law of official regulation of the Purchasers country. Interested

This notice updates the General Procurement Notice for this project, which was published on the EBRD’s Web site, dated 1 March 2001.
