Prime minister Anthony Albanese has committed to a more ambitious emissions reduction target. On the looming energy crisis, he criticised the previous government for its inaction over almost a decade, saying: 'Scott Morrison went to the Glasgow conference last year and gave an empty speech to an empty room with no changed position.
