Farnborough airport submits plans to increase number of flights amid calls for a ban on private jetsThe climate activist Greta Thunberg has marched alongside local residents and Extinction Rebellion activists to protest against an airport's expansion plans.Farnborough Airport Ltd has submitted a planning application to Rushmoor borough council to increase the number of flights from 50,000 to 70,000 a year.
